"Oh yes he doesn't need that title anyway"

It does not matter, really. He has fan all over the world, including me :-)
From the first time I saw this guy singing that "Mad World" song, I can see that he is really different than any other contestant, he is unique, very unique. To me he is a real rare and is amazingly truly performer with a very beautiful voice. I personally feel he deserves to win the contest because he definitely a classi in his own league. Oh yes despite of that sexual issues that people have been talking over the net, its his choice, the point is, like Simon Cowell said, he really can sing, not only can sing very well with that great vocal range, but really an entertainer!he's soooo talented, I can;t wait to see him on tour to NZ.. ahh.. no point to feel sad about the results.. hahaa..

2nd Year Anniversary (21st May 2007-21st May 2009)

Owh that's not about wedding anniversary - it's just a reminder to me that I've been in Auckland exactly two years on today. So, now I'm stepping into the final stage of this PhD, can I believe it, oh yes please. Man... Time really flies!
I'm scared now I've got so much things to do..erggh. Shouldn't complaint ya I knew that. I am just getting tired and bored doing with this experiment thingy. I can't wait for the semester to end so that I can relax on Saturday and doing things I liked. I am anxious though looking forward to meet my real good friend - kak Lili who will be coming to Auckland next Wednesday. I really can't wait to see you kak lili, there r lots of things to catch up with you :-)

Musim Perletakan Jawatan

Hari ni kecoh dlm inbox mail pasal orang2 yang dilantik menerajui Mapsa sibuk nak letak jawatan (orang2 tu termasuklah aku!!) ISH..memanglah..rase nak pelangkung je sapa yang gatal undi aku.. Bukan apa, memang bagus ada persatuan, tapi bab2 siapa nak pegang jawatan,walaupun dibuat secara undian, kenalah ikut sukati tuan punye badan..pegang jawatan ni kena sukarela, bukan paksa-rela.. lain lah utk misi2 kritikal contohnya mcm menerajui negara atau yg sewaktu dengannya. So, berbalik kpd cerita letak2 jawatan tadi, sebenarnya dan seeloknya kasilah peluang kpd kami2 yang senior ni utk menumpukan perhatian pada pelajaran..maklumlah tak lama lagi nak masuk finl year (adoi seramnya!!!) maka sedar2lah diri tu.. so, mmg patutlah dan sesssuaailah bagi yg junior pulak pegang jawatan mapsa tu.. sedangkan dlm agama pun takde paksaan, apatah lagi ni pulak dalam persatuan yg tak seberapa mcm.. (erm paham2 la). Simpati jugak kat presiden baru, dok sibuk nak pulun provisional dah kena suruh buat meeting cepat2.. sabarlah ye tuan presiden baru! Ape2pun, pada pendapat saya, tak payahlah kecoh2 sgt psl persatuan ni, sbb tujuan dtg sini pun nak belajar..hal2 lain yg tak berkenaan tu boleh letak ke tepi dulu, hidup ni kena ada priority!

Waitangi dan kisah kucing purple

Hari ni cuti umum di NZ sempena Hari Waitangi. Tapi mcm biasa lah, bile ada kerja penting nak kena siapkan, mmg berkobar2 semangat nak pegi ofis. Lagi satu yg syok tu, time cuti ni aman sket dok kat ofis, boleh lah fokus lebih sket konon...hek! Sbnrnya pagi tadi ada jumpa kucing kaler purple, tapi jumpa dalam mimpi da... yg kelakar tuh, kucing tu pemalu bagai nak rak..nak suruh kuar umah, punyer la malu...segan tak tentu pasal..sbnrnya kucing tu tak wujud pun di alam nyata, taktau la mana dtg tetiba muncul dlm mimpi! Disebabkan kucing tu slow bangat, aku pun sergah dia kuat2, terus dia melompat punyer la kuat, smpai terjatuh terperosok kat bawah tangga, tetiba aku rase bersalah gile! tapi nak tergelak pun ada.. tetiba aku terus terjaga dari tido sbb sedih dan tak sampai hati tgk kucing tu mcm kesakitan..aduh kesiannya dia.. mana la aku nak cari kucing purple tu sbb nak kena mintak maaf kat dia la.. huhuu

Cerita ceriti hari ni

About the things today, I managed to do at least one good thing: preparing & distributing goodies (small tit-bits) to bribe the students in the class :) Hey it’s not bribe actually! I consider it as a token of appreciation for their effort & time they spent on answering the questionnaire. So its just representing a THANK YOU from me. That is all. Whether they do deserve it or not, that’s a different story! Well, at least I can see some happy faces today :-)

The only thing that makes me feel so pissed of was the incident of this one guy (actually the demonstrator) of the course when he said something which I thought quite rude. He said something like this “You;re doing PhD rite? I thought that you’re a PhD student, so I supposed you should know how to solve it. Then, why do you call me?” He said that to me when I called and asked him to give some helps to a student who was debugging his code. Well, apparently I was very surprised with his statement, but I managed to control myself. So I was not yelling back at him as that was not my style or my way of answering when someone is acting very rude to me. I wish I could say something like this: “It’s not that I don’t know how to solve it, it’s because you’re paid to do it, so it is your job! You’re rite, of course I am much smarter than you that’s why I am here doing my PhD and I didn’t wasting my time doing unnecessary thing!”. Haha.. belagak sungguh! But fair enough, aye? Well, that’s simply isn’t me. I was actually felt ashamed at that time because I noticed few students were looking at us when he said that to me. Well, I have to take care of my pride too, so I nicely answered him back saying that actually I was not into the question from the beginning, and as a course demonstrator he should know better (I was actually busy on something else so I was not ready to spend time to debug codes for a student who is on his last-minute-doing assignment!). Back to the story, of course as a normal human being, don’t you feel like giving him some “penyepak” on his face or in malay we said something like this “ish nak kena penampar apa budak nih....!” hahaa… no, of course I’m not going to do that. I truly don’t blame him for his weaknesses and his intolerance or impoliteness when communicating to other people. Well, I believe he doesn’t really understand what doing PhD is all about. Some people are so naïve and think straight that for instance if you are a PhD student in CS then you must be really damn good in programming. Well, it is not necessarily be the case. It depends on the area of research that you do. Ah there are a few more stories, but I guess cukuplah utk hari ini.. dah malam dah ni..nak kena tido da…

Morale of the story: “kalau dah memang tu keje ko, buat aje lah.. toksah nak byk songeh”.
