After a year.. What??? Already one year ma...

ish disebabkan kesibukan melampau sejak dari bulan lepas, aku tak perasan aku dah setahun kat sini. 21st May, 2007 was the day I stepped on the NZ soil, and now I have been here for a year! Time flies.
So sebagai muhasabah diri, apa aku dah buat setahun ni? Lega progress report to KPT dan UIA dan hantar, tapi senyap jer orang2 kulliyah ict nih, ish musykil aku, dah siap email lagi, tapi langsung tak pernah berbalas. Budaya "tak rajin buka/balas email" ni memang perkara biasa di Msia terutama di agensi2 tertentu. Tak tahu la bila akan ada perubahan sikap tu.
Alhamdulillah, apa yang dirancangkan utk tahun pertama, selamat ditempuhi. Terima kasih tak terhingga buat kenkawan yg sentiasa membantu semasa kesusahan, semasa kesedihan, hanya Allah saja yg dapat membalasnya. Bersyukur sangat pada Ilahi atas segala nikmat dan kurniaannya. Alhamdulillah..
Ni tak tahu lagi ape cerita masuk year two.. arrghh..tensen sebenarnya..tensen sbb banyak nak kena fikir/buat, so bab kena fikir nih yg penting. We're born to be a thinker. Jadi, fikir fikirkanlah.

Chepot is gone, but never forgotten

Semalam dapat berita menyedihkan pasal Chepot. Sya bgtau, Chepot telah kembali ke rahmatullah pagi jumaat, 23rd May. Oh chepot.. tak sempat aku nak gi tengok.. chepot dah pergi dulu..Mak ilah ckp, "takpe lah..dia meninggal hari jumaat, masuk syurga.." ye lah mak ilah, ikan tu tak de dosa pun.. kita sedih sbb rasa kehilangan, kita dah jaga dia, tengok dia hari2, walaupun cuma 3 bulan jaga chepot, tapi chepot mcm dah jadi kawan karib aku, What an amazing feeling, kind of special bond with this little tiny creature. Mcm ni ler jugak dulu aku sedih tinggalkan kucing Labun tu :-(

Bile musim durian?

Tetiba masa demam ni, aku teringin sangat nak makan durian kat kampung aku kat chenderong balai, teluk intan, nak tunggu balik m'sia entah bila.. plan nak balik la..tapi tak tau la bila boleh balik, sbb kena tunggu masa yg sesuai, lepas settle experiment bla bla, ritu dah ckp ngan emilia nak balik sbb homesick.. ahaks! dah dpt lampu ijau yay! cikdin ckp "kalau homesick takpe, jangan sick of home" hahaha oh cikdin sorri lah saya langsung tak rindu kat uia tu ahahaa :=))
Ckp psl durian, tau lah kat gombak and kl tu berlambak aje durian siam, tak mo lah durian siam kat pasar malam 3 paket 10 ringgit tu tak sama cam durian yg arwah atok and arwah ayah aku tanam, korang kalau nak rasa durian sedap meh dtg kat kg aku..datang aje, for sure kak eda dan abg ajak (abang n kakak ipar ku) amat mengalu-alukan kedatangan korang, tapi datang time musim durian dah luruh lah :-)

Musim demam (demam pun ada musim)

I think this is the longest fever I had here in NZ. It started last Monday with a sore throat, which then turn into a really bad cough after several days :=( the body temperature was also higher than normal. Malas nak jumpa doc punye pasal, I just consumed the panadol, plus drinking honey (1 teaspoon) dissolved in half a glass of warm water (baca fatihah n salawat minum tiap pagi, insyaAllah). I believe something inside my body, could be infection, which causes the temperature to go up. The cough + flu => head ache. So I just work from home. Well, I am not complaining, and one should not complaint of why are we having fever, or why having penyakit itu and ini..ALhamdulillah jika berkat kesabaranku menghadapi demam ni moga Allah ampunkan dosa2ku..ameen.

Alhamdulillah today i am feeling better, hopefully to fully recover soon so that I can work at the office as usual (i think I missed my office very the much!!ahaks)

A day at Waiheke :-)

Aloha! I was very lucky to have a chance to spend a day at Waiheke Island on the Anzac day, with my beloved supervisor. Emilia, Nile, and Sally waited for me at the ferry terminal and then we went for a long walk around the island. Waiheke is a small peaceful and very quiet island surrounded by beautiful beaches. Not much photos taken though. We had a very nice meal, a paella, a famous spanish food.Lovely! Muchas Gracias to emilia n nile for the invitation :-) Will visit at some other time hopefully :-).

Beautiful South Island :-)

"A picture is worth a thousand words". These are some of the photos taken during my recent visit to South Island. It was really amazing and awesome experience I had in NZ. The conference at Canterbury University at Christchurch was also great and it was wonderful to meet other postgrad CS students all over NZ. Other than Christchurch,we had visited Kaikoura,Dunedin, Otago Peninsular, Queenstown, Lake Wanaka, Hokitika, and Picton. Awesome places!
